The worshiping community of the Malankara Orthodox Church around the Delaware Valley area in Pennsylvania, USA, had been cherishing a dream of forming a parish within Delaware Valley (Exton,West Chester,Upper Darby) area.

By the Grace of our God and sincere efforts and dedication to this endeavor by certain members, the Diocesan Metropolitan was pleased to announce the new parish as St. John's Orthodox Congregation, Delaware Valley vide the Kalpana No. K81/ 2006.
