Nashville Kannada Koota was first established years ago because of the sheer ambition of stalwarts like Dr. Andani Praka Nashville Kannada Koota was first established years ago because of the sheer ambition of stalwarts like Dr. Andani Prakash. Following in his foot steps many Kannadigas of outstanding social stature have selflessly dedicated themselevs to the cause of uniting Kannadigas of Nashville area in particular and of Middle Tennessee in general. A regional conference of all Kannada Kootas of central America was also organized years ago. Regular union of Kannadigas during Ugadi and Kannada Rajyyothsava has been the salient feature of NKK. Because of the tireless efforts of these leaders the Kannadigas have found a real home away from their motherland.
