TAF was formed in 1997 by several volunteers who shared the dream of promoting the Telugu language, art, and cultural heritage of the people in the Tampa Bay area and other parts of Florida.
TAF organizes 3 main annual events: Sankranthi (Pongal), Ugadi (Telugu New Year), and Deepavali (Diwali, Festival of Lights). In addition, we also organize various other programs when professional performers from India visit the Tampa Bay area.
