Bengali Association of Southern California (BASC) is a US non-profit organization
Bengali Association of Southern California (BASC) is a US non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing and promoting Bengali and Indian culture among Southern California residents. BASC runs two Bengali schools - Pathbhaban in San Fernando Valley area and Pathsala in Irvine area. BASC publishes a periodic e-newsletter, Sambad Bichitra; and two literary magazines - Kheya for grown-ups and Ankur for the children. BASC also organizes many cultural, social, philanthropic and religious events throughtout the year.
